Medical Billing Specialist

Small home health care agency seeking and experienced, dependable billing specialist to manage billing and claims submission for the My Care Ohio Waiver Program.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Prepare and submit Ohio Medicaid waiver claims.

Review claims for accuracy and timely submission

Research and resolve denied, rejected, and unpaid claims.

Follow up with managed care plans regarding claim status and payments.

Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.

Assist with billing compliance and EVV-related issues, as applicable.

Qualifications:

Experience with Ohio Medicaid billing and the MyCare Ohio Waiver Program.

Knowledge of home and community-based waiver services.

Familiarity with electronic claims submission and EVV systems, as applicable.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
