Job Summary

Our client is  seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing and investigating losses, ensuring a safe and secure environmentfor our customers, employees, and assets. 

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and prevent losses due totheft, shoplifting, and other forms ofshrinkage.

- Conduct thorough investigations ofsuspected losses, gathering evidence and collaborating with law enforcement as needed.

-Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security measures to detect and prevent losses.

-Apprehend and detain individuals suspected of shoplifting or other forms of theft, following company policies and procedures.

- Prepare detailed reports ofincidents, investigations, and losses, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

-Work closely withstore management, security teams, and law enforcement agencies to prevent and investigate losses.

- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on loss prevention techniques and procedures.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
- Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.

- Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred.

- Familiarity withlaws and regulations related to loss prevention.
