The Project Manager reports to the Project Director and provides planning, coordination, and direction for project management activities to ensure they meet owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule. This person will be working on a variety of renovation projects (TI, Tenant Improvement, and Deferred Maintenance) types and should have experience from planning, design phase, construction, and close-out. May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, and other assigned staff (including oversight of subcontractors).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Meet with the clients customer representative to clarify, define, and develop scope of work, budget, and schedule requirements
Work through JOC (Job Order Contracting) Estimating Group for conceptual estimates per clients procedures
Manage design phase, construction, and project close-out according to the clients procedures and company practices
Schedule and conduct regular construction progress meetings, ensuring budget and compliance with the scope of work
Identify and resolve problems and issues before they become critical and keep the client and the customer department informed of ongoing project status, including cost, schedule, and other issues
Take initiative to keep project leadership (Project Director) informed of assigned projects and responsibilities for any/all customer departments
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
At least five (5) years experience, within the last ten (10) years, providing construction/project management consulting services, including at least four (4) years of relevant project experience in the repair, maintenance, or refurbishment of existing governmental and institutional-type facilities
Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Job Order Contract, and/or Best Value Construction management
Experience on mid-size healthcare and justice construction projects
Advanced knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts, and delivery methods
Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications, with applied experience in project accounting, cost, administration, and team coordination
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
Experience with project-related systems such as E-Builder, Prolog, and Primavera
Proficiency with document control systems, and experience with new construction and modernization of government facilities (preferred)
Registration as an Architect (preferred)
Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
