IT Systems Engineer

Manpower Malta are seeking on behalf of our client an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our client's existing second level support team within the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and provide support to IT Infrastructure technologies including Windows Servers, Virtualisation platforms, Storage Systems and Networks
• Install, maintain, and provide support security products including endpoint security, endpoint encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems
• Maintain monitoring systems and act proactively on triggered alerts
• Act rapidly to triggered alarms
• On-call remote support for emergency support.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate certification
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2012R2 or higher
• Experience on VMWare virtualization platform and shared storage solutions
• Experience on Office 365 platform
• Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
• Ability to solve technical problems analytically and handover / escalate appropriately
• Ability to work part of a team as a well work on own initiative without supervision
• 5 years experience in an IT support role with hands on experience on switching, routing and server systems
• Have a good command of the English language
• Ability to travel for onsite installations
