Junior Light Technician

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Junior Light Technician for their Gaming studios in Belgrade, Serbia.

Position: Junior Light Technician

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Support the setup and operation of lighting systems in a dynamic, around-the-clock production environment to ensure consistent quality across all studio output.
• Operate, monitor, and assist in maintaining lighting equipment. Collaborate with senior staff to identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding operational updates, equipment conditions, and any emerging concerns.
• Ensure lighting activities meet safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with other technical teams to align lighting with broader production elements such as audio and video.
• Assist in maintaining detailed records of lighting setups and usage. Stay informed about current trends and technologies in studio lighting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong proficiency in English (at least B2) in both written and spoken communication.
• Prior experience working with lighting systems in live production or studio environments.
• Familiarity with studio lighting equipment, control systems, and the ability to interpret light plots or technical diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for lighting in live or continuous-operation environments.
• Ability to respond to and assist in resolving technical issues under pressure in live settings.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, including senior technicians and management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to work various shifts, including occasional nights and weekends.
