Were on the lookout for an experienced Mechanic to join a close-knit, independent garage in the heart of Crieff. Whether youre already MOT-qualified or working towards it, this role offers proper hands-on work within a well-established workshop where youll be treated like one of the team.

About the role

Were looking for a Mechanic/MOT Tester whos confident with day-to-day servicing, general repairs and fault finding as well as carrying out MOTs. They will consider applicants who are working towards MOT certification.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm

Key duties

• Routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance

• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair

• Diagnostics and problem-solving using modern tools and tech

• Carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards

Key requirements

• Previous experience in a similar workshop or garage environment

• Confident carrying out a wide range of mechanical work

• MOT licence is a bonus, but not essential

• Reliable, practical, and takes pride in a job well done
