Research Nurse (Pneumology)

The Pneumology group is looking for a nurse candidate to work in the “Research Program on Respiratory Diseases of Environmental Origin”. The group comprises clinicians and scientists being one of their main goals to bring the benefits of the scientific research undertaken to improve patient’s disease.

In this particular The Group of Research in Pneumology offers a contract to work on basic research in asthma and pollution.


Education and qualifications:

Required:


  • The candidate has to possess a Degree Diploma in Nursing.
  • Fluency in Spanish, English (business level).

Desired:

  • Organized and methodical person with high motivation and initiative. The candidate must have skills to work in team environment and independently.


Experience and knowledge:

Required:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Desired:


  •  Completion of a training course in animal experimentation will be considered an advantage.

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Design and execution of in vivo experiments and biomarker assessments.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, laboratory staff, and data analysts.

  • Analyze experimental data, including immunological and molecular biomarkers.

  • Contribute to database management and integration of clinical, environmental, and laboratory data.

  • Writing of scientific reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.

 

Labour conditions:

    • Full-time position: 22 h/week.
    • Starting date: 01/09/2025
    • Gross annual salary: 22.000 euros
    • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
