Audit Senior

Job Description 

Our client, a well-established professional services firm, is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their team.

Location: On site - Flexible - Mosta

Responsibilities:

As an Audit Senior, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead statutory audits for medium to large companies from planning through to completion, including reporting and presenting findings to clients
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the applicable accounting framework and prepare completion documentation, including reports to those charged with governance (e.g. management letter)
  • Supervise and coach audit associates during engagements
  • Support the induction and on-the-job training of audit associates
  • Assist with other audit-related projects as required

      • Requirements:

    • University degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar audit role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
    • Proficiency in standard office tools and software
    • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
