As an Incident & Release Coordinator, you're involved dealing with all incidents raised affecting our business(es) both internally and externally, during your shift or while on call rotation.
Incident & Release Coordinator is responsible for building, updating and maintaining the monitoring and alerting platforms, and will be involved in a wide range of other tasks and projects, which will be determined by previous experience and development interests.
Your day-to-day
- Coordinate and document all incidents affecting our businesses and customers or employees;
- Set up and maintain Grafana and Datadog monitoring and alerting;
- Take ownership of issues and actively work on preventing them from escalating into incidents;
- Be an effective communicator;
- Follow agreed incident procedures, processes, metrics and standards;
- Assist the Incident Team Lead in other tasks.
Your background and mindset
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence;
- An understanding of ITIL processes;
- Experience with Opsgenie or similar tool;
- Experience with Grafana and/or Kibana or Datadog, or have a good understanding of how logging can be used to create visual metrics;
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and be part of an on-call rotation;
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business effectively;
- Background in IT and/or experience in Incident Management is a significant advantage;
- Excellent written and verbal English;
- Some abstract level technical knowledge of modern development practices and cloud based microservices architecture is a plus;
- Previous experience in iGaming is a plus.
