Position Overview:
As a National Equipment Technician, you'll serve as the face of our technical team at customer sites across the U.S. Youll be responsible for installing, servicing, and supporting precision equipment used in fast-paced industrial environments. This is a full-time, travel-focused role designed for experienced technicians who are equally confident with tools, wiring, and troubleshooting under pressure.
Whether you're coming from field service, maintenance, or technical trades, this position offers a strong pivot into advanced automation and system-level supportwith a clear path for growth.
Your Core Responsibilities:

Travel to client facilities nationwide to install and commission new equipment
Perform system diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
Interface with vision, sensor, and motion systemstroubleshooting as needed
Provide ongoing support for equipment in the field, including remote assistance
Complete accurate service reports and part recommendations
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers while representing the brand in person
Maintain DOT-compliant logs, submit expenses, and manage your own travel schedule
What You Bring:

2+ years of hands-on technical experience (field service, equipment maintenance, automation, or related trades)
Solid understanding of electrical systems (AC/DC), mechanical assemblies, and diagnostic tools
Experience working independently in customer-facing environments
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (email, Excel, basic documentation)
Willingness to travel 9095% of the time, MondayFriday, nationwide
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
Valid drivers license and ability to obtain a passport
Bonus Skills That Set You Apart:

Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, or barcode/vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
Prior experience in military service, high-travel tech roles, or industrial automation
Background in technical trades like automotive, HVAC, mechatronics, or controls
Strong communication and problem-solving under minimal supervision
