Key Responsibilities

Data Science & Analytics

• Tackle data science and analytics challenges across Launchpad projects or Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
• Create or enhance services, processes, and offerings using state-of-the-art machine learning, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence techniques
• Support the Lead Data Scientist in end-to-end delivery of machine learning and data science projects, including business communication and requirements gathering
• Take a hands-on role in developing new analytics models to extract insights and deliver business value from data integration and exploration to visualization and interpretation of results
• Embrace a "try fast, fail fast" mindset with a strong appetite for experimentation and continuous learning
• Apply a solid modelling foundation including, but not limited to, classification, clustering, recommendation systems, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing
• Work closely with data owners to ensure alignment with technical guidelines and guardrails

Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to assess regulatory implications of Launchpad solutions
• Uphold and demonstrate company's values and behaviours including:

• Technical competence and ongoing learning
• Proactive risk management and strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (SUTD alumni welcome) OR 1-2 years professional experience
• Solid understanding of data science and machine learning principles with hands-on project or internship experience
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and tools such as Jupyter, Tableau, or similar
• Strong analytical skills, business curiosity, and a willingness to learn and experiment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
• A growth mindset with attention to detail and accountability
