About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching and Learning: Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 2 students’ needs, fostering both academic success and a love for learning.

- Classroom Management: Cultivate an inclusive and respectful classroom where every student feels valued and encouraged.

- Assessment: Use both formative and summative assessments to monitor and track student progress, providing valuable feedback.

- Curriculum Delivery: Ensure lessons are in line with the national curriculum and delivered innovatively and effectively.

- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to plan and share best practices, enhancing the overall school environment.

- Parental Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.

    Key Requirements:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

    - Experience in teaching within the primary education sector, particularly Key Stage 1.

    - A creative, positive, and inclusive approach to teaching.

    - Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to cater to a range of learning needs.

    - Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff and effective engagement with parents.
