Maintenance Engineer

Summary

As our new Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to develop the skills and knowledge needed to support the maintenance, repair and improvement of our manufacturing machinery. You’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our production lines running smoothly and safely while learning about preventative maintenance and creative problem-solving within a fast-paced nutraceutical environment.

The role naturally leans towards mechanical engineering, although you will also be exposed to the fields of electrical/electronic engineering.

Our headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Bicester, with a second storage warehouse nearby. What will you do?

  • Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of machinery, including blending, filling, encapsulation, and packaging equipment.

  • Support breakdown diagnostics and assist in effective fault finding and repairs, identifying 100 year fixes where possible.

  • Work with Senior Engineers to propose and implement engineering solutions that improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Help monitor machine performance and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and assist with documentation of processes.

  • Learn and apply relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

  • Attend and successfully complete required off-site apprenticeship training and qualifications.
