Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team - recent graduates are encouraged to apply! As a DevOps Engineer, you will work alongside senior team members to help maintain the stability and performance of our financial trading systems, supporting end-to-end management of UAT testing, production implementation, and ongoing maintenance. You’ll also assist streamlining deployment processes, enhance system monitoring, and support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) in a secure environment. 

This is a great opportunity to develop foundational skills in infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support while contributing to the scalability and reliability of our platforms.

  • Infrastructure & CI/CD Pipeline Development
    • Assist in setting up and maintaining system infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment processes on MT4 and MT5 platforms.
    • Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistency across environments.
    • Help optimize CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to minimize manual intervention and adhere to security and compliance standards.
  • UAT Testing & Production Support
    • Support the setup, configuration, and execution of UAT environments for MT4 and MT5, collaborating with QA and development teams.
    • Participate in production deployments on MT4 and MT5, ensuring smooth releases and monitoring post-deployment for stability and troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring & Performance Optimization
    • Help monitor the health, performance, and security of production environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
    • Assist in identifying issues and contribute to root cause analysis with the support of the development and operations teams.
  • System Maintenance & Technical Support
    • Support routine maintenance tasks, system updates, and troubleshooting activities.
    • Help write basic scripts and tools to resolve technical issues, maintaining production environments for reliability and availability.
  • Documentation & Continuous Improvement
    • Document processes, incident management, and best practices, focusing on MT4 and MT5-related operations.
    • Proactively learn DevOps best practices and participate in team discussions on improving workflows and systems.


Requirements

  • 1 year in DevOps working with AWS, with hands-on experience in UAT testing, production deployments, and system maintenance in financial services or trading. New Grads welcome to apply.
  • Experience with MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms.
  • Competent in git workflows, with strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; experience in large-scale fintech applications is a plus but not necessary. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English and Mandarin speaker.
