Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly regarded Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Hitchin. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 4 qualified Paraplannerwho is looking to develop into a client-facing Financial Adviser, supported by a collaborative and professional team. The firm is known for its personalised, relationship-led approach to financial planning, with a strong emphasis on integrity, professional development, and long-term client care.

As a Paraplanner, you will support advisers with high-quality research, analysis, and suitability report writing. You will work closely with experienced financial planners to deliver tailored client solutions while progressing your development towards an advisory role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial research and prepare suitability reports.

• Support advisers in developing and reviewing client financial plans.

• Perform cash flow modelling and product analysis.

• Maintain accurate client records and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Engage actively in adviser training and professional development.

Requirements

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential.

• Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within financial planning.

• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.

• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.

• Clear ambition to transition into a client-facing advisory role.
