Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietician to join our team in Coos Bay, OR. The Clinical Dietician will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs and providing appropriate dietary recommendations to improve their overall health and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and be able to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of patients, taking into consideration their medical history, dietary habits, and lifestyle

- Develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals

- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans

- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for patients

- Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate them into practice

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments and progress

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures

- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of nutrition services

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field

- Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) certification

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Dietician in a healthcare setting

- Strong knowledge of nutrition and its impact on various medical conditions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems

- Current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the field of nutrition
