AI/ML Engineer - Fintech

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Cursor is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid skills in data wrangling using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and model evaluation metrics.
• Experience working with financial datasets and solving domain-specific challenges.
• Familiarity with model deployment frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, train, and deploy ML models for fintech applications (credit scoring, fraud detection, customer analytics, risk analysis).
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large structured and unstructured financial datasets.
• Implement and optimize predictive models using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Work closely with data engineers and product teams to deploy models into production environments.
• Monitor model performance, handle data drift, and retrain models as needed.
• Apply state-of-the-art AI/ML research to drive innovative financial solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy standards in model design and data handling.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in AI/ML and fintech innovation.
