Local CDL A Truck Driver

Must reside within 75 mile radius of Altoona, PA and have HAZMAT Endorsement

• Home Time -Home daily Monday – Thursday with 1 layover on Friday (returning home Sat evening)
• Avg weekly mileage 2,700 - 2,800
• All Enter: Mileage $.58 CPM
• All Enter: Hourly $18.00
• Average Weekly Pay $1,800
• Average Annual Pay $85,000-$90,000
• Stop pay: $14 – starts at 1st stop.
• Tailgating of freight: $10 per tailgate – driver assist w/ moving freight to tail of trailer.
• Delay pay for stops exceeding 60 minutes: $17/hour – Max $70 (first hour is free)
• Breakdown pay for equipment failure/repairs: $17/hour – Max 9 hours of pay.

Schedule is as follows - Monday-Saturday:

• Monday & Wednesday – Driver departs Altoona, PA at 10:00 AM stopping at Norfolk Southern in Enola, PA to load/unload prior to swapping trailers with a driver coming out of Roanoke, VA at a location in Clear Brook, VA. Driver will stop in Enola, PA again to load/unload before returning to Altoona, PA.

• Tuesday– Driver departs Altoona, PA 08:00 stopping at vendors in Erie, PA and Grove City, PA to drop off or pick up freight and then returning to Altoona, PA. Sometimes, the Erie stop will be removed if they have no freight for this location and mileage would be reduced to reflect this.

•Thursday - Driver departs Altoona, PA 08:00 stopping at vendors in Emporium, PA and Exeter, PA to drop off or pick up freight and then returning to Altoona, PA.

Friday-Saturday (out overnight)– Driver departs Altoona, PA at 08:00 with the following Norfolk Southern stops: Conway PA, Bellevue OH, Elkhart IN, (break overnight) Bellevue OH, Conway PA. He then will return to Norfolk Southern Altoona, PA. Typical return time is 1700-1730 Saturday evening.

Qualifications:

• 21 years old
• Minimum 3 months experience
• No SAP
• Pass Both urine & hair follicle
• Hazmat Endorsement
