Job Title: Professional Executive (Electrical Engineer)
Reports to: Section Manager or Delegate
Overview:
Manpower is seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and project coordination of electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring operations while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate electrical engineering operations, maintenance, and projects.
Lead teams of engineers and technical staff.
Oversee power distribution, protection, and control systems, ensuring adherence to company standards and H&S regulations.
Prepare technical specifications, contract documents, and risk assessments.
Supervise site works, plant maintenance, and system commissioning.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and operational plans to meet efficiency and emissions targets.
Maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Participate in the preparation of SOPs and performance appraisals.
Respond to emergencies and system outages, coordinating switching operations and repairs.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (MQF Level 6, 180 ECTS) eligible under the Inġiniera Act Cap 321.
Experience: Relevant experience in electrical engineering, project management, or technical team leadership.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Group B driving licence.
Additional Notes:
Adequate training will be provided for any duties outside the candidates current competence.
Role
Professional Executive (Electrical Engineer)
General
• Probation of 1 year.
• Contract term:
o Indefinite contract; or
o Definite Contract for 3 years, which will be, with immediate effect, transformed to an
indefinite contract upon the attainment of the Electrical engineering warrant under the
Inġiniera Act Cap 321.
• Role is an overtime grade
• After a defined period of training, etc., the employee may be required to form part of an on-call roster
which includes an on-call allowance.
Salary Package
• The salary will vary based on experience and other criteria and will range from €27,149.80 till
€37,636.80;
• €1,000 increment annually up to a maximum €37,636.80 upon satisfactory performance;
• €3,467.50 and 135 litres of fuel per month. The car fringe benefits, and fuel allowances shall be
taxable according to law;
• €935 Professional Development allowance;
• €935 Masters allowance (MQF Level 7, minimum of 90 credits);
• €1,400 PHD allowance (MQF Level 8);
• The Company shall provide the Employee with a mobile telephone that will be fully paid for
communication, for up to maximum payment of €560 per annum;
• Performance bonus - up to a maximum of 10% of the basic salary.
Benefits
Working hours:
o Summerschedule (16 June - 30 September) - 7:00 - 13:00, no break
o Winter schedule (1 October – 15 June) - 07:00 - 16:15, 30 minutes break between 12:00 and
12:30
o Alternatively one can opt to work all the year round from 07:00 – 15:15, 15 minutes break
between 12:00 and 12:15
Flexi before-after, that is, one can start between 06:00 and 08:00 and work the number of hours
accordingly on that same day;

Possibility of work from home (if work permits) up to 20% - after probation period;
Training opportunities – sponsorship agreement and study/exam leave.
