Biology Teacher – Lambeth Secondary School

An Outstanding secondary school in Lambeth has a vacancy for a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum and examination specifications.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of biology.
  • Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum within the Science department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Biology or a closely related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary level, including A-Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for biology.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
