Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher ready to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators? A forward-thinking secondary school in Nottingham is looking to appoint a talented teacher of Business for a full-time, permanent position starting this September. There is potential for a TLR for candidates with leadership ambitions and experience.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and challenging Business lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
• Contribute to the development of an ambitious and expanding Business Studies curriculum
• Inspire students to develop critical thinking, financial literacy, and commercial awareness
• Participate in department planning, extra-curricular enterprise initiatives, and sixth form support
• Take on leadership responsibilities within the department (for suitable candidates)

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject
• UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Business at KS4 and KS5
• A teacher with high expectations, excellent subject knowledge, and a forward-thinking approach
• Leadership experience or potential, especially in curriculum planning, is highly desirable
• ECTs with strong placement experience will also be considered
