About the Role

An Independent secondary school in Harrow seeks an experienced A-Level English Teacher to join their team from April. The role involves delivering engaging A-Level English Literature and Language lessons, preparing students for examinations, and fostering a love of literature. We are looking for a skilled A-Level English Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging A-Level English Literature and Language lessons.
• Prepare students for A-Level examinations and assessments.
• Develop students' analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the A-Level English curriculum. We require an A-Level English Teacher who can perform these tasks.
• Organise and lead extracurricular activities related to English Literature and Language.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
• Proven experience in teaching A-Level English Literature and Language.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced A-Level English Teacher for this position.
