About the Role

An Outstanding secondary school in Barnet seeks a passionate MFL Teacher (Spanish & French) to join their modern foreign languages department from September. The role involves teaching Spanish and French across all key stages, fostering a love of languages, and developing students' intercultural understanding. We are looking for a skilled MFL Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Spanish and French lessons across all key stages.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
• Develop students' language skills and intercultural understanding.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. We require an MFL Teacher who can perform these tasks.
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum.
• Organise and lead language-related extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Spanish and/or French.
• Proven experience in teaching Spanish and French at secondary level.
• Strong language skills and a passion for language education.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced MFL Teacher for this position.
