Electrical Engineer

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for their offices in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Position:  Electrical Engineer

Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan 

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct in-depth analysis and hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring functionality across power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Assist with system installation and setup in the field, ensuring correct wiring, connections, and operation of all electrical components.
• Perform system testing and diagnostics on-site, resolving issues to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Create comprehensive technical documents such as specifications, reports, manuals, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure all work meets relevant safety codes and standards, both local and international (e.g., NEC, IEC, OSHA).
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver cohesive and well-integrated system solutions.
• Offer hands-on technical assistance during construction and commissioning phases, supporting internal teams and field crews as needed.
• Identify and recommend enhancements to system integration, workflows, and overall performance of electrical installations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, particularly in fieldwork, troubleshooting, and hands-on support of electrical systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems including backup power, distribution, lighting, and controls.
• Hands-on experience with electrical tools, wiring, diagnostics, and system testing.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and electrical safety regulations.
• Ability to perform standard electrical calculations such as load analysis and voltage drop.
• Comfortable using a range of diagnostic and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers).
• Strong problem-solving ability with a hands-on, practical mindset.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment.
