About the Psychology & Sociology Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Psychology & Sociology Teacher to join our successful Social Sciences department. You will be responsible for teaching Psychology & Sociology to A Level students, inspiring them with your subject knowledge and innovative teaching methods.
Responsibilities of the Psychology & Sociology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Psychology & Sociology lessons.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Psychology & Sociology curriculum.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental and school-wide activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- A degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Psychology & Sociology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and A Level exam specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
