We are looking for a Computer Science teacher to work within an Outstanding school in Walsall. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5 on a full-time basis. The department is particularly successful and well-resourced, with a supportive and approachable head of department. The school welcomes applications from both ECTs and experienced Computer Science teachers. Experience and Qualifications

• Computer Science teacher to teach KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
• A teaching qualification with QTS
• Legal ability to work in the UK

Specific Responsibilities

• Lesson planning and effective delivery to meet the needs of all learners
• Assessment and recording of student achievement
• Managing the classroom and resources effectively to create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment for all students
• Maintaining discipline and promoting student well-being and progress
• Developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and students while maintaining effective lines of communication

Salary

The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS).
