SENCO – Leading Secondary School – Reading – September Start
Location: Reading
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic SENCO to join a leading secondary school in Reading. As the SENCO, you will have a key leadership role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support and resources they need to succeed, both academically and personally.

Your Role as SENCO:
Lead and manage the SEN department, ensuring high-quality support for students.
Collaborate with staff to implement inclusive teaching practices and support individualized learning.
Develop and review students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure progress is being made.
Liaise with parents, external agencies, and other professionals to provide holistic support for students.
Who We’re Looking For:
A qualified and experienced SENCO with strong leadership skills.
A deep understanding of SEN legislation, provision, and best practices.
Experience working with students with a range of needs and challenges.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
