About the Role

An Outstanding school in Harrow requires a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join their sports department, starting ASAP on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent. You'll deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting students' physical fitness and sports skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education Teacher lessons, covering a range of sports and activities.
• Prepare students for sports competitions and assessments.
• Develop students' physical fitness and sports skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources.
• Organise and lead sports-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
• Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
• Strong sports skills and knowledge of sports science.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
