About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join their humanities department from September. You’ll deliver engaging religious studies lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
• Develop students' understanding of diverse religious beliefs and ethical issues.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the religious studies curriculum and resources.
• Organise and lead religious studies-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Studies.
• Proven experience in teaching religious studies at secondary level, including A-Level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for religious studies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
