About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and varied Music lessons across the secondary age range, covering music theory, history, composition, and performance.
• Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of musical interests and abilities.
• Assess student progress through practical performances, compositions, written work, and aural tests, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the vibrant extracurricular musical life of the school, including leading or assisting with school ensembles, choirs, and instrumental tuition.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music.
• A strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance practices across a range of genres.
• Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for music and the ability to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the subject in young women.
