This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching primarily Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is committed to providing students with practical culinary skills and a strong understanding of nutrition.

Responsibilities:

The appointed Food Technology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons that meet curriculum requirements and inspire a love of cooking. You will teach essential cooking skills, food science principles, and healthy eating habits, ensuring a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the development of the Food Technology curriculum are key duties for this Food Technology Teacher role.

Requirements:

Candidates must be a qualified Food Technology Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, or a related field. Proven experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is essential. Strong practical cookery skills, a passion for food and nutrition, and excellent classroom management skills are required. We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher.
