Your Role
As an EMC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our components and systems meet corporate, legal, and market-specific Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements. You will work on cutting-edge projects to develop, test, and validate solutions that guarantee product compliance and performance in diverse electromagnetic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop EMC Test Plans: Create detailed test plans for components and systems, ensuring alignment with internal and external standards.
- Support Testing Activities: Collaborate with test facilities to execute component and system-level EMC tests, analyze results, and recommend solutions.
- Ensure Compliance: Interpret and apply corporate and legal EMC requirements to guarantee compliance across products and markets.
- Maintain Standards: Regularly review, update, and maintain internal EMC requirements and processes.
- Technical Leadership:
- Conduct and lead EMC hardware design reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide design teams and suppliers with technical recommendations to resolve EMC challenges effectively.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance throughout the design and development process.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving processes, tools, and methodologies within the EMC team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in EMC engineering, including testing, design reviews, and compliance.
- Expertise in EMC standards, regulations, and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting test data and providing actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and suppliers.
