Software Engineer (C++)

Overview:

Our client, a pioneer in the automotive technology sector, is at the forefront of the shift towards software-defined vehicles enhanced by electrified and smartly connected architectures. This position is within the Cloud Centre of Excellence team, which is instrumental in driving technological advancements in the automotive industry.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (C++) to join a team developing innovative driver monitoring technology aimed at enhancing vehicle safety and comfort. This is a rapidly growing field, creating life-saving products such as driver drowsiness and attention monitoring, as well as seatbelt recognition. The project is part of a broader effort in interior sensing, including features like gesture recognition and seat occupancy monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established engineering standards and software development processes.
• Analyze software requirements and prepare design documentation.
• Develop software modules and perform verification tests.
• Collaborate with local and remote engineering teams.
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and safeguard company assets.

Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in software development.
• Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in C++.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems programming.
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:
