Windows Administrator

We are looking for engineers who will join our Windows Platform Team.

The team provides Windows operating systems in various versions (Windows Servers as well asClient OS) and active directory services for ASTRO Systems.

As a team member, you will participate in the whole software development cycle to develop andmaintain Windows Platforms Solutions i.e. automated installation and configuration of the system, and applications, system updates, security scans and finding resolution, etc.

The new functionality is mostly developed with PowerShell but there are also existing batch orother scripts. The project uses Agile methodologies.

Basic Requirements:

A perfect candidate should have hands-on experience on:

• Administration and implementation of Microsoft Windows-family OSes especiallyWindows Server 2016-2022

• Administration and hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Active DirectoryLightweight Directory Services, and Microsoft DNS

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services, SSL/TLS encryption and certificates, Network Policy ServerNon-interactive, automatic deployment of WindowsOperating Systems on Bare Metals and Virtual Machines

• DISA STIG familiarity

• Strong will learn how to automate all the above with Powershell

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field, or similar

• Practical knowledge of Windows Server/Client operating systems from the user and administrator perspectives

• English language skills at a level that allows efficient communication

Familiarity with some of the following will be a plus:

- Networking protocols and network services skills including TCP/IP, SNMP, and firewall

- Experience in creating, reviewing, and updating technical documentation

- Basic knowledge of Linux

- Good programming with PowerShell skills

- Practical knowledge of Ansible

- Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies

- Ability to investigate and solve challenging technical issues
