Accountant

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company specializing in online trading that is seeking to onboard an Accountant to join their team.  

Position:  Accountant 

Location: Cyprus, Limassol

Work model: on site

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary quarterly Bonuses, depending on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle daily bookkeeping for multiple companies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for the group’s companies
• Calculate and prepare tax and VAT filings
• Assist in preparing reports to ensure compliance with CySEC and central bank regulations
• Work closely with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other key business partners
• Manage and execute the full payroll cycle for the company

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP Business One is a plus
• ACA/ACCA qualification (or in progress) is an advantage
• Experience in the Forex industry is a plus
• Familiarity with CySEC reporting is an advantage
• Previous experience with the full payroll cycle and relevant legislation is a plus
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks
