A highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teacher is required to join a thriving and inclusive SEN school in Bristol. Your Role as an SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Differentiate teaching materials to suit a variety of learning abilities and communication styles.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to provide holistic support for students.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified SEN Teacher with experience working with students with additional needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching approach.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Experience using alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS) is an advantage.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.
  • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
