Science Teacher - Full-time, Permanent (September 2025 Start)

A diverse and inclusive Mixed Comprehensive School in Westminster is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our Science department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of science and foster scientific inquiry in our students.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, covering biology, chemistry, and physics.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate practical experiments and real-world applications of science.
• Facilitate scientific investigations and encourage students to develop their experimental skills.
• Assess student progress through practical work, written assignments, and examinations.
• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
• Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and field trips, to enhance student learning.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Science.
• Proven experience teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
• Strong practical and experimental skills, with the ability to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Commitment to fostering scientific literacy and a passion for exploring the natural world.
