About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and rigorous Economics lessons to Key Stage 5 students, focusing on A-Level curriculum requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate current economic events and real-world examples.
• Facilitate in-depth discussions and debates, encouraging students to analyze and evaluate economic policies and theories.
• Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations, providing detailed and insightful feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
• Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as economics clubs and guest speaker events, to enhance student learning.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Economics or a related field.
• Extensive experience teaching Economics to A-Level, with a proven track record of achieving excellent student results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and challenge high-achieving students.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to present complex economic concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
