Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Geography department.
• Develop and implement an engaging and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Lead and manage a team of dedicated Geography teachers.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to ensure high attainment.
• Develop and maintain strong links with the local community and external organisations.
• Lead on departmental CPD and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
• Manage departmental resources effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Geography or a related subject.
• Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
