Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across all key stages, focusing on female participation and development.
  • Plan and implement a diverse range of physical activities, including team sports, individual disciplines, and fitness programs.
  • Lead and develop extra-curricular sports clubs and teams, providing opportunities for competitive and recreational participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
  • Promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students, emphasizing the importance of physical and mental well-being.
  • Organize and lead school sports events and competitions.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for female students, encouraging their participation and leadership in sports.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching PE to female students at secondary level.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for promoting female participation in sports and physical activity.
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
