Art Teacher – Sixth Form College – Birmingham
An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham requires a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their Art department. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Key Stage 5 (with potential for Key Stage 4 for a suitably experienced candidate).
Art Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Art department.
- Be part of an Outstanding team.
Art Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Art Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary or post-16 level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The desire to work as an Art Teacher.
