Maths Teacher – Surrey Secondary School

An Outstanding secondary school in Surrey requires a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher to join their Mathematics department. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Maths department.
• Be part of an Outstanding team

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• The desire to work as a Maths Teacher
