History Teacher - Part-Time, Fixed-Term (April 2025 Start)

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons at Key Stages 3-4.
• Plan and deliver lessons that bring history to life through a variety of teaching methods, including historical investigations, debates, and role-playing activities.
• Encourage critical thinking and historical analysis through research projects and class discussions.
• Prepare students for examinations while fostering their curiosity and developing their historical literacy.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community and participate in school events.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in History.
• Experience teaching History at GCSE level.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A passion for history and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
