Drama Teacher – Kingston Secondary School

An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons.
  • Teach a range of dramatic techniques, styles, and genres.
  • Develop students' acting, improvisation, and performance skills.
  • Contribute to school productions and performances (desirable, but not always essential).
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Teach at an Outstanding School

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to be a Drama Teacher
