About the Role:

As a part-time Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons to A-Level students, covering topics such as advanced programming, data structures, and computer architecture. You will develop and adapt resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will assess student progress through coding projects, presentations, and written examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback. You will also contribute to departmental meetings and potentially lead extracurricular coding clubs or research projects.

Ideal Candidate:

You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong understanding of advanced programming concepts and computational theory. Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at the A-Level is essential, with a track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons. Excellent communication and organizational skills are crucial, as is the ability to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in computer science. You should also be proficient in multiple programming languages and possess a commitment to staying abreast of advancements in technology.
