About the Design Technology Teacher Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Creative Arts department. You will teach Design Technology at A Level, inspiring students with your expertise and engaging them through hands-on and innovative teaching methods.

Responsibilities of the Design Technology Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Design Technology curriculum.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and creative learning environment.
• Participate in both departmental and school-wide activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• A degree in Design Technology or a related field.
• Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary school level.
• Knowledge of the UK curriculum and A Level specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
