You will play an essential role in assisting teachers and delivering high-quality support to students, contributing to their success and well-being.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a prestigious secondary school in Hillingdon
• Provide in-class support across a variety of subjects, working closely with teachers to ensure effective learning and student engagement
• Lead small group sessions, offering targeted interventions to students who need additional support
• Assist in planning and preparing lessons and resources to ensure all students have access to the curriculum
• Monitor student progress and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional learning needs
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting student confidence and independence
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and external specialists to provide a holistic approach to student support

Experience & Qualifications:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent (essential)
• Previous experience supporting students in a secondary school setting, ideally with students who have SEN or additional needs
• Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum and the ability to adapt support for diverse learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students and teachers
• Enhanced DBS check required
