Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a welcoming SEN school in Havering
• Lead and manage the school’s SEN provision, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies
• Oversee the identification, assessment, and support of students with a range of special educational needs
• Ensure EHCPs are effectively implemented and reviewed, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students
• Provide training, support, and guidance to teachers and support staff on best practices for SEN teaching
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop and improve whole-school SEN strategies
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing, and aspirational learning environment for all students

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)
• Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, EHCP processes, and intervention strategies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A collaborative and proactive approach to supporting students and staff
• Enhanced DBS check required
