Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a specialist school in Islington
• Teach a small class of KS1 students with diverse learning needs, using creative and engaging approaches
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons that support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to learning

• Track student progress, implement individual education plans (IEPs), and adapt teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in an early years or KS1 setting
• A strong understanding of SEND teaching strategies, including differentiated learning and sensory-based approaches
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Enhanced DBS check required
