About the Role:

An Outstanding (Ofsted rated) secondary school in Lambeth seeks a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their highly successful Geography department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a school with a proven track record of academic excellence. The Geography Teacher will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching. The successful candidate will be an exceptional Geography Teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Geography curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Adhere to all school safeguarding policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
